SAE Mobility Engineering (2019) — 2020 pack 'remains' NMC, i.e. the 2017-2019 pack was NMC too

Quote: General Motors declined to disclose the new battery recipe for the 2020 Bolt pack, other than that it remains a blend of nickel, cobalt and manganese.

How we got this: Source says the 2020 pack 'remains' NMC, implying the 2017-2019 pack was also NMC.

Start of the 2020-2022 Bolt EV battery remedy (modules, later some full packs)

How we got this: GM's October 2021 owner letter told priority 2020-2022 owners to book module replacement ('You should contact your Chevrolet EV certified dealer to arrange an appointment.'). NHTSA's first 21V-650 quarterly report (https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2021/RCLYLY-21V650-7902.PDF) lists 40 vehicles remedied in 2021 Q4. So 2021 is the earliest fitting year. Many 2020-2022 cars later got diagnostic software only, not a new battery.
